Summer Camp at Camp Amigo

Camp Amigo is all about exploring nature, ourselves, and God in a fun and exciting environment. It is our goal that every camper comes away from Amigo with new friends, skills, and the knowledge that they are important and cared for. Each day of camp includes activities for each cabin group such as canoeing or co-op games, a free choice activity such as gaga ball or giant bubbles, and swimming in our lake. Day Camp: age 6-13

Cost: $160/week
Day Camp provides a wonderful opportunity for campers who want to spend their evenings and nights at home but join in on the camp experience. Day Campers are welcome to come as many weeks throughout the summer as they are able. Day Camp runs Monday through Friday each week, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Day Campers must have completed Kindergarten to attend.

Overnight Camp: age 8-13​

​Cost: $380/week
​Overnight camp is an awesome opportunity for campers to experience all of the elements of summer camp. In addition to the Day Camp activities, overnight campers experience evening campfires, cookouts, night hikes, a campout, and more. All the while spending time in nature, learning more about God, and forming meaningful friendships. Overnight Camp runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday afternoon. 

Autism Day Camp: age 6-13

Cost: $160
Autism Day Camp is a great opportunity for kids who are on the spectrum to come and participate in everything that Day Camp at Amigo has to offer, while also being provided the supports that are necessary to make the experience successful and fun.  Our whole staff is trained on best-practices for helping to support children with autism, and each camper is paired with a one-on-one counselor whose sole focus for the week is providing the specific supports needed by each child to have a wonderful week at camp. If you are interested in signing up your child for Autism Camp, please call (269-651-2811 ext 103) or email our Program Director, Colton Eby ([email protected]).  Limited Availability

Kind Camp: age 6-13 & caregiver

Cost: $180 per camper; $250 per adult ($900 maximum per family)
A week of summer camp for children who are chronically ill, neurodiverse, or disabled, along with their families. Experience the memories and fun of traditional summer camp with the specialized support your family needs to thrive. Campers (ages 6-13) with disabilities and their siblings join Amigo's Day Camp program in the morning, with trained one-on-one staff supporting each disabled camper. Families spend afternoons and evenings participating in activities tailored to the abilities and interests of participants.

Experience Camp: age 6-13 & caregiver

​Experience Camp is a way for families to experience camp together. Campers ages 6-13 join our Day Camp program from 7:30am-5:30pm. Adults and others outside of camper age will have time throughout the day to work remotely, relax, or even leave camp property. When the Day Camp schedule ends, enjoy the use of our Retreat Center and a staff led activity in the evening. Perfect for Campers who are interested in Amigo but not sure if they want to do overnight camp. Experience Camp runs Sunday through Thursday.
