E³ - Survival Skills for Life Program is a partnership between Amigo Centre and Goshen Middle School What: E³ (engaging, equipping, empowering) - Survival Skills for Life Program Who: each year we accept eighteen at-risk boys into the program who are entering 6th grade at Goshen Middle School (up to 2 boys from each of the seven Goshen Elementary Schools, plus 4 additional individuals) When & Where: Survival Camp at Amigo Centre (Sturgis, MI) - An overnight camping experience each June. Monthly Sessions - During the school year, we meet once a month on the second Friday afternoon from 3:45-6:00 pm at the Goshen First United Methodist Church -Garage-Pavilion-Storage (GPS) building (1212 W. Plymouth Ave.) End of Year Celebration at GMS - May 14, 2021: this event will provide an opportunity for the guys to share the skills they've learned during the year with their families and community supporters. How: staffed with a mix of Amigo staff, Goshen Middle School staff and mentors approved through Goshen Middle School. Why: by empowering, engaging and equipping at-risk youth we give them tools to be successful leaders in their school and community. Objectives for the Program:
