August 7th
Bow Drill Fire Building
1:00 - 3:00 pm
This session will provide an opportunity to make your own bow drill kit and then learn how to use it. Starting a fire with with a bow drill can be quite invigorating, and through practicing with our newly made bow drills we will gain appreciation for the Native people who relied on friction fires for their livelihoods.
