Lois Oyer

Outdoor Education Teacher
Homeschool Nature Study, Gr K-2

Lois has been connected with Amigo for many years, in part because she brought her first-grade students to Amigo on Outdoor Ed field trips before she retired from teaching in the Middlebury Community School district after 28 years. Lois enjoys nurturing her students' curiosity and helping them grow excited about the natural world. She volunteers with a team of bird banders in the summer, where she gets the opportunity to see the birds up close. Lois also enjoys reading, sewing, knitting, gardening, and going for walks.
