Camp KIND

June 30 - July 3, 2025
Programming: What to Expect Each Day

Morning Activities

The after-chapel activity for campers with disabilities will give an opportunity for movement and unstructured play to give neurodiverse brains a break and release energy. Potential activities include Lego building, chalk & bubbles, gaga ball, and an interactive nature hike.

After chapel activities will be determined the week before camp, and are flexible to change depending on the needs of campers.

Caregivers spend the remainder of their mornings as they please: resting in the Retreat Center meeting area, talking with other caregivers, working remotely, or soaking in the sun on the plaza.

Individual chaplaincy sessions with Camp KIND's resource staff may be available.

Between snack and lunch, campers integrate into a cabin group with their peers for two traditional camp activities each day. With the assistance of their one-to-one support staff, campers with disabilities will build relationships with children their age while participating in archery, marsh hikes, friendship bracelet making, fishing, team-building, or craft time.

Late-morning activities will be determined the week before camp and may change depending on the weather.
