Nonrefundable Deposit & Cancellation

A nonrefundable deposit is required to hold facility reservations. If the nonrefundable deposit and contract are not returned within one month, Amigo Centre reserves the right to release the facility reservations and dates for use by another group.

Minimum Charges

​The group will pay for the total number of people who eat meals, which will be no less than the meal numbers reported two weeks before the reservation begin date. Amigo uses these numbers to schedule staff and to order food, so it is important that these numbers are as accurate as possible. The group will pay for all meeting and lodging spaces used, which will be no less than 80% of the facilities reserved 2 months before the reservation begin date.

Rates & Payment

​Amigo Centre reserves the right to increase rates for facilities, meals, and other services. Rates will not change after January 1 of the year of the reservation. The full reservation balance is due within 30 days of your reservation arrival date. All overdue or unpaid balances incur a late payment fee of 10% of the remaining balance when the due date has passed. In addition, unpaid balances over $200 are subject to 2% interest per day until the balance is paid. Payments can be made via credit card, check, or cash. Returned checks are subject to a $50 returned check fee. 

Insurance

​Amigo Centre does not provide secondary medical insurance for families or organizations who do not participate in Amigo Centre programs.

Liability for Personal Injury or Property Damage

​Amigo Centre is not responsible for personal injury or lost/damaged property of attendees. Amigo will keep items left by guest groups and program participants for three months, after which all items will be donated to the MCC Thrift shop in Goshen, Indiana.

The family/organization is expected to pay for repairs and/or replacements to Amigo Centre’s property that is damaged outside of expected wear and tear.
