"Big, Big God!"

Camp Amigo is all about exploring nature, ourselves, and God in a fun and exciting environment. At Amigo, you can find new ways to tune in to God's voice and learn how to know God better. Our dedicated and fun-loving staff have a passion for following Jesus, spending time with kids, and enjoying the outdoors. We always have a good camper to staff ratio (usually 3 campers to 1 staff) and are excited to offer a variety of fun and entertaining camps throughout the summer!

Encounter and Explorer Camps: Our traditional 5-day camps offer you the chance to do it all. You'll have the opportunity to make new friends, explore the outdoors and challenge yourself in a variety of ways. Morning and evening worship times around the campfire allow you to learn more about God and yourself in a positive and exciting environment.

Discovery (4 nights) and Experience (2 nights) Camps: These shorter camps provide an excellent opportunity to try out camp and begin the summer camp tradition. While these camps are shorter and geared towards the younger camper, they still include many of the exciting elements of Encounter and Explorer camps.

Adventure Camp: We have combined the best of the adventure camp and the best of the sports and arts camp in order to create a great week of camp for middle school students. You now have more opportunity to choose activities that you are excited about. In addition to the traditional fun things to do around Amigo, you can choose from a variety of sports, as well as different art activities. This exciting week of camp also includes tons of opportunities to relax, hang out and make new friends while learning about God.

*NEW* The Servant Leadership Experience: This brand new camp is a collaborative effort between Amigo and uLEAD to help develop servant leadership in high school students. Through a variety of highly interactive initiatives, campers will know what it means to be an authentic servant leader, feel empowered to use their individual gifts to be radical servant leaders, actively practice servant leadership as Jesus taught, and be transformed into the natural servant leader God created them to be. Come to enjoy camp at Amigo for the first time or to experience the camp you've grown up with and a few new twists!

Survivor  Beaver Island: Come spend three days and two nights marooned on Beaver Island, a primitive undeveloped Island across the lake from main camp. Learn skills and experience the outdoors in a new way by cooking over a campfire, sleeping in shelters (or under the stars), and learning a variety of outdoor skills. This camp is great for experienced “Survivors." but also for those desiring to be dubbed a "Survivor." Come experience the more isolated parts of camp while building skills for exploring the wilderness throughout life.

First Camp:  A great way to get to know camp for the first time. This camp can be an amazing two-day adventure for adult and children pairs. In First Camp, you will experience spending time exploring creation with a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, along with Amigo summer staff. It's a great first camping experience.
