History of Program
Started in 1971 to provide students an opportunity for experiential learning
York Elementary School (Bristol, IN) was the first school to participate in the program
in 1999, a six-session Nature Study Course for Homeschoolers was started
The Outdoor / Environmental Education Program at Amigo Centre presently serves over 2,000 students annually from public and private schools in northern Indiana and southern Michigan.
